Crystal Mercedes Jacome, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she lied to police about a crime.
Police said that Jacome misrepresented her identity in order to appear to be an alleged victim of an attack. Police said that Jacome completed an action form as the victim and requested that charges against be dismissed.
Police added that the document was submitted through a fake Gmail account that she created
Jacome is charged with false statements and writings.
