A Rockmart man was arrested in Rome this week after authorities say he assaulted two women in separate incidents.
According to police reports, 35-year-old Brandon Lee Waddell struck a 32-year-old woman across the face with a large knife, leaving her with a deep cut across the bridge of her nose. Officers responded to the scene, and an investigation led to Waddell’s arrest.
Waddell is also accused in a second incident on Turner McCall Boulevard, where police say he headbutted a 38-year-old woman in the face.
He is charged with aggravated assault and battery.
