Jose Juan Ortiz-Nunez, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he used another person’s identity as his own for an identification card application.
Reports said that Ortiz-Nunez used another man’s name, date of birth and social security card to get an ID at the Department of Driver Services on Martha Berry Highway. The fraud occurred back on November 8, 2018.
Ortiz-Nunez is charged with identity fraud and false statements and writings.
