A Rome High School student, Wreno Dantione Fain Jr, 17 of Rome, was arrested at school this week after reports said he attacked another student.
Reports said that Fain slapped another student in an insulting manner during a verbal spat that resulted in a physical fight.
Fain is charged with simple battery.
