Mr. Stacy Lee Stone, age 58, of Shannon, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025
Mr. Stone was born October 17, 1966, in Gordon County, Georgia, son of Dale Eugene Stone and Patricia Smith Hensley. He graduated from Calhoun High School and was employed with 7 Hills Fire Protection until becoming disabled. He enjoyed NASCAR and dirt track racing and was an avid Georgia Bulldog football fan. But he treasured nothing more than his precious grandchildren, children and family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Kimberly Minshew Stone; his son, Zachary Stone and wife Salisa; daughter, Jessica Holder and husband Zane; his granddaughters, Evelyn and Everlee Holder; grandson, Grayson Wooten; his father, Dale Stone, wife, Teresa and mother, Patricia Hensley, husband, Mike; his brothers David and Robbie Stone; grandmother, Evelyn Stone as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather Walter Stone and maternal grandparents Robert and Frances Smith. Also left to cherish his memories are Nancy and Buster Goss who he looked to as second Mom and Dad.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 5:00pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Wednesday from 3:00pm until the hour of service.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Stone will be cremated.
