he Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) proudly announced the 2025 graduates of its Senior Leadership Academy (SLA), a premier professional development program designed to prepare emerging leaders from across Georgia’s 22 technical colleges and the system office for senior-level positions in technical education. Among this year’s distinguished graduates is Jennifer Loudermilk, Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC).
The Senior Leadership Academy is an intensive, year-long program that equips participants with the leadership skills, strategic insights, and real-world experiences needed to guide Georgia’s technical colleges in a rapidly evolving educational landscape. Throughout the program, participants engaged in executive coaching, hands-on leadership training, and strategic discussions focused on higher education policy, workforce development, community engagement, and innovation in technical education.
“The Senior Leadership Academy represents TCSG’s commitment to cultivating the next generation of leaders within our colleges and system,” said TCSG Commissioner Greg Dozier. “These graduates embody the excellence and dedication that define our system, and they are well prepared to continue driving Georgia’s reputation as the top state for talent.”
As a graduate of the program, Loudermilk joins a network of leaders across the state who are helping to strengthen Georgia’s workforce and expand educational opportunities for students. Her participation in the academy underscores GNTC’s ongoing commitment to leadership development and excellence in technical education.
“The Senior Leadership Academy is about preparing leaders who will continue to strengthen our colleges, inspire our students, and advance Georgia’s workforce,” said Dr. Alvetta Thomas, President of Executive Leadership and Talent Initiatives at TCSG. “This year’s graduates demonstrated exceptional commitment to growth, collaboration, and service. Their leadership will have a lasting impact on their colleges, their communities, and the entire TCSG system.”
Graduates of the 2025 Senior Leadership Academy were recognized during a special ceremony at the TCSG Fall Leadership Conference in Savannah, Georgia.
