Jennifer Leigh Vasser, 32 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said she had a child steal $500 in cash at a store on Martha Berry Highway.
Reports said that Vasser and the child were at 3793 Martha Berry Highway when she found money and kept it. Police said that Vasser did not take any measures to find the owner of the cash before getting into her car and driving off.
Vasser is charged with theft of mislaid property, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and probation violation.
