Rome Man Jailed for Beating Child with T-ball Bat

Larry Duncan Anthony, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he used a pink T-ball bat to beat a child in the face.

Reports said that Anthony was “attempting to cause physical chard to the child”.

The incident occurred at his home on Dodd Blvd.

Anthony is charged with aggravated assault and 1^st degree cruelty to children.
