Roger Dewayne Callahan, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he repeatedly entered the curtilage of Richard B Russell Airport and stole helix wire valued at $4,500 each.
The thefts occurred on July 29, 2025 and August 2, 2025.
Callahan was later found with the wire in his possession at a scrap yard.
Callahan is charged with two counts felony theft by taking.
