Mrs. Barbara Ann Pope, age 89, of Silver Creek, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at her residence.
Mrs. Pope was born on November 10. 1935, daughter of the late Oscar Fricks and the late Dollie Roberta Cox Fricks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pope, and by a sister, Nettie Clyde Davenport. Mrs. Pope was a homemaker and was a member of Doyle Road Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include three daughters, Jacqueline Ely (Paul), Angela Moore (Ricky), and Pamela Foster (Mark); a sister, Shirley Astin; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 1pm at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Robert Vines will officiate.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the cemetery on Wednesday at 12:45pm and include Paul Ely, Ricky Moore, Mark Foster, and Jackson Crawford.
