Mariah Diane Thorp, 22 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said she tried to hide evidence from police.
Thorp allegedly concealed a firearm from police in an attempt to evade further charges for Eric McConnell. This came after reports said she helped McConnell engage in the selling of illegal narcotics at an apartment complex on Dodd Blvd.
Thorp is charged with felony tampering with evidence and attempt to violate Georgia controlled substance act.
