Dayton Keyle Stephens, 29 of Centre, AL, was arrested in Rome after reports said he led police on a chase.

Police said that they attempted to stop Stephens for a broken taillight when he refused to pull over.  Stephens proceeded to drive for several minutes before reaching his brother’s house on Superior Drive.

Stephens then told police that he knew that he was driving on a suspended license and was wanted on multiple felony charges.

While being taken into custody, officers found Stephens in possession of a suspected illegal vape.  The vape will be sent to the GBI crime lab.

Stephens is charged with driving on a suspended license, brake light violation, obstruction and probation violation.
