James Adam Flowers, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he sent threatening messages to a 34 year-old woman, violating a protective order.
Reports said that Flowers made intentional contact with the victim at Planet Fitness by contacting her by telephone multiple times. Flowers reportedly sent numerous text messages to the woman.
Flowers is charged with harassing communications and violation of a family violence order.
