Rome Man Arrested for Being Party to a Crime, Displays Sex Organ to Officer while Being Booked

Shelton Tremaine Harris, 42 of Rome, is facing numerous charges this week after reports said he exposed his sexual organ to a jail officer.

Reports said that Harris was being booked into the jail after being arrested for being a party to burglary. Police stated that on May 4^th, Harris joined Jesse Eaves, who entered a home on Burnett Ferry Road and loaded a trunk that contained a generator, weed eater and an extension cord, into their vehicle.

Harris was found this week walking through a backyard of a home on Blacks Bluff Road carrying a bag.

Harris is charged with public indecency, party to a crime, contempt of court, possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug related objects.
