Pamela Gail Pruiett, 61 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she hit her adult daughter in the face with her fist and a cellphone.
Reports added that Pruiett told the victim that she was going to “beat her”.
The incident occurred at a home on Maple Road.
Pruitt is charged with simple battery and terroristic threats/acts.
