Rome Woman Found DUI after Hit and Run

Meredith Julean Broxson, 43 of Rome, was captured this week after reportedly doing a hit and run on Lyons Drive.

Reports said that Broxson left of lane of travel before causing an accident and fleeing the scene.

She was later found and it was discovered that she was driving under the influence of aerosol inhalants.

Broxson is charged with hit and run, DUI and failure to maintain lane.
