Jamie Lee Hamilton, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she starved two dogs until the point of near death.
Reports stated that Hamilton failed to provide food, water, and care to her dog, resulting in scores of 1 out of 9 and 2 out of 9 on the Purina body scale.
The animal’s ribs, lumbar, vertebrae, and pelvic bones were all easily visible.
The animals were found on June 10th at a location on Maple Road.
Hamilton is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
