A former employee of Loyd’s Wrecker Service, William Craig Crabtree, 64 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he detonated an explosive device at the business on Turner McCall Blvd.
After setting off the device, Crabtree reportedly sped away in his 2008 Honda Pilot.
Reports added that Crabtree had previously harassed the owner and other employees after his termination.
Crabtree is charged possession/transporting explosive with intent to kill, injure or intimidate, manufacturing an explosive device and persons convicted or under indictment to possess explosives.
