An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Walter Bradley Kellogg, 21pf Rome, is facing new charges after he attacked another inmate with a broom stick handle.
Reports address that the victim, a 61 year-old male, was left with a visible injury to his arm.
Kellogg is now charged with battery and unlawful acts in a penal inatitution.

Walter Bradley Kellogg, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he verbally attacked a woman outside the court house minutes after being given a TPO to stay away from the victim.
Reports said that the events began when Kellogg showed up late to the court hearing and was advised that the TPO was granted against him. Authorities added that Kellogg walked out of the courtroom and toward the victim and others where he called her a “trifling ass bitch”.
The incident occurred in front of two small children.
Kellogg is charge with aggravated stalking and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree.
