Michael Brandon Thompson, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with drugs and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at the intersection of Riverside Parkway and Chatillion Road.
Officers said that they initiated the stop after observing Thompson repeatedly crossing the center line. After stopping Thompson, police discovered that he had been driving on a suspended license.
A search then resulted in police finding methamphetamine and objects used to inject the drug.
Thompson is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects, driving on a suspended license and failure to maintain lane.
