Britt Vaden Heinrich, 38 of Fort Payne, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was wandering around the parking lot of Ace Hardware on Shorter Avenue while drunk.
Reports stated that officers first approached Heinrich after they saw him swaying and unsteady on his feet.
Heinrich is charged with city drunkenness.
