Cherieshia Sharnese Hayes, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after she helped in the armed robbery of the Marathon gas station on North Broad Street.
Reports said that an unknown suspect entered the gas station armed with a gun and robbed the store. Hayes is accused of being a lookout for the suspect before both fled in the same vehicle.
Police added that Hayes accepted money from the robbery and severed as their getaway driver.
Hayes is charged with robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and probation violation.
