Rome Man Jailed for Beating Woman with a Car Jack Handle

Randall Dale Jenkins II, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a woman with a vehicle jack handle.

Reports stated that Jenkins threw the jack handle at the woman while they were trying to leave a home on East 2^nd Avenue. 

Jenkins then proceeded to smash the driver’s window and struck the victim in the left ear, resulting in a partial amputation, as well as a laceration to the left side of her head.

Jenkins is charged with aggravated assault.
