Keontae Daquan Latimore, 20 of Cedartown, was arrested recently after he was accused of verbally and physically attacking his mother.
Police said that after being dispatched to the victim’s home she told them that her son became upset after having a dispute with someone (unknown) and was being disruptive in her house.
The victim asked Keontae to “go outside, take a walk and calm down”.
It was then that the victim stated that Keontae “turned his anger towards her and began arguing”.
During the arguement, Keontae allegedly pushed his mother to the ground and broke the bedroom door off its hinges.
Latimore is charged with simple battery and criminal trespass.
