An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, George Steven Tapia, 26 of Buford, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he attempted to sneak meth into the facility.
Reports said that after retuning from work detail a search resulted in officers finding a plastic bag containing meth tied to Tapia’s penis.
Reports added that the meth weighed .52 grams.
Tapia is charged with possession of meth and crossing the guard line with drugs.
