Dylan Lee Little, 33 of Cedartown, was arrested recently after reports said he attacked police officers who were arresting him for a hit and run.

Events began when officers were dispatched to Ga-1 at Hutto Road, in reference to a hit and run. Upon my arrival, officers spoke with the complainant and were told that he was traveling south on Ga-1 when a white single-cab Chevrolet truck came into his lane of travel and struck his vehicle before fleeing away.

Officers were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle following a second hit-and-run call involving the same vehicle.

Police then stopped the suspect at Ga-6 and Wimberly Hill Road.

While speaking with Little, officers said that they detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Little’s truck.

As Little was being placed in a patrol car, he is accused of kicking the arresting officer.

During the transport, police said that Little continued to act irate. Upon my arrival at the jail, Little allegedly started kicking the inside of the patrol vehicle’s door.

When jail staff removed Little from the patrol vehicle, they placed him in a restraint chair. While in the restraint chair, Little stated 3 different times that he was going to kill Jail staff and Officers.

Little is charged with aggravated assault, hit and run, terroristic threats/acts, two counts obstruction, simple battery against a police officer, failure to maintain lane, DUI, reckless driving, improper backing, open container, windshield violation, seatbelt violation and aggressive driving.
