The Polk County Police Department has issued a statement following a wreck that severely injured two police officers over the weekend.
Reports said that on Saturday April 12 just before 9 pm officers John Chandler and Tre McDonald were in pursuit of a wanted subject, identified as Albert Ladell (AJ) Ware.
Reports said that Ware was able to avoid capture after the officers patrol vehicles collided at a high rate of speed.
Ware is wanted on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude and six counts of obstruction of law enforcement.
