Hope Michelle Newberry, 52, and Mark Jeffery Breakbill, 63, both of Rome, were arrested after reports said a verbal argument became physical at their Turner Chapel Road home.
Police stated that Newberry slapped a plate out of Breakbill’s hand.
At that point, Breakbill shoved Newberry before she began to shove him back.
Both victims were forced to the ground during the confrontation.
Both are charged with simple battery.
