Joshua Brandon Wiggins, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he shoved a 29 year-old woman against the wall and then broke her cellphone.
The incident occurred at his home on High Bluff Road.
Wiggins is charged with simple battery and criminal trespass.
