Ashton Skyler Swearinger, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he threatened to slit another man’s throat.
Reports said that Swearinger sent a text to the victim and told him that he was going to “slit his throat from ear to ear”, and that he was going to jump him when he left the court house.
Swearinger is charged with terroristic threats and acts.
