James Robert Gass, 44 of Powder Springs, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was found in possession of drugs after authorities were notified of a rolling domestic.
Police stated that after locating Gass on 20W at Salem Drive, he gave them a fake name and date of birth.
Police went on to say that after discovering his true identity, Gass was taken into custody, and in the process leading them to find marijuana in his pants.
It was also discovered that he was driving on a suspended license for a DUI charge in Cobb County.
Gass is charged with possession of marijuana, giving false information to police and driving on a suspended license.
