Benjamin Lee Corbin, 31 of Calhoun, was arrested in Rome after being found to be in possession of various drugs during a traffic stop on GA 20 at Barker Road.

Reports said that Corbin was stopped after officers noticed he failed to maintain his lane.

While speaking with Corbin, police said that he was found to have been under the influence of some type of substance.

Police added that while taking Corbin into custody, they found a suspected anabolic steroid, Phentermine pills and a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

Corbin is charged with possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, DUI and failure to maintain lane.
