An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, Chartavias JaQuon Doster, 31 of Cordelle, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with a cell phone.
The report said that a cell phone was recovered in his possession while he was on work detail at the PAWS animal shelter.
Authorities added that Doster would use the phone to communicate with persons outside the place of incarceration.
Doster is charged with items prohibited by an inmate.
