A Forsyth County man, identifed as 46-year-old Nahunta Sha-Ron Finley, has been arrested for stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of shoes from Famous Footwear in Cartersville.
Reports said that Finle repeatedly entered the store carrying a Target shopping bag while pretending to try on shoes. However, instead he placed the shoes into the bag and walked out without paying. The total value of the stolen shoes exceeded $3,000.
The suspect returned to the store the following day and stole an additional $480 worth of shoes.
Emerson later found and stopped Finley. A search of his vehicle resulted in them finding the stolen shoes along with other suspected stolen items, as well as what appeared to be cocaine and 12 pills believed to be MDMA.
Finley attempted to flee on foot but was quickly caught.
Finley now faces multiple charges, including three counts of felony shoplifting, one count of misdemeanor shoplifting, possession of cocaine, possession of a Schedule I drug, possession of drug-related items, obstruction of officers, providing false information, driving with a suspended license, and violating probation.
