Caleb Sexton Pierce ,31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he allowed his 7 year-old child at Armuchee Primary School to miss 41 days of school, 24 of those unexcused.
Reports said that Pierce was given multiple notices before allowing continuing to allow his child to miss 12 days (6 unexcused) days of school since January 29, 2025.
Pierce is charged with mandatory education of children.
