Christy Dawn Bellflower, 39 of Buchannan, was arrested at the Dollar General in Cedartown after reports said they were dispatched to the store due to a “female that appeared to be high”.
Officers said that when they arrived on the scene, they saw Bellflower asleep at the register.
They then observed a clear bag lying next to the woman. They then saw a plethora of drugs and drug paraphernalia inside.
While investigating, police discovered that she had to warrants for her arrest for meth and a controlled substance possession.
Police then proceeded to search the bag and inside finding Fentanyl, methamphetamine, and a straw containing meth residue.
A container containing Xanax was also located in her purse.
Police also found Hershey Chocolate Syrup; (2) Frozen Shredded Steak Burritos; 10 foot USB C cable; Mossey Oak Fishing Sticker; Frozen Big Breakfast Bacon Egg Burrito; Filled Dog Bone; Welches Grape Juice and a Frozen Loaded Nacho Chimichanga in her purse that she had not paid for from the store.
Bellflower is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance and theft by shoplifting.
