Daniel Ray Baldwin, 39 of Lindale, was arrested this week after police said he allowed for a 3 year-old child to be around an aggressive dog that ended up attacking him.
Reports stated that the child suffered severe lacerations to its arm and puncture wounds to its leg.
Authorities added that Baldwin had knowledge that the dog had shown aggressive behavior before.
The incident occurred at a home on Davis Street.
Baldwin is charged with 2nd degree cruelty to children and reckless conduct.
