A convicted sex offender, Cecil Eugene Cooley Jr, 59 of Kingston, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to notify authorities that he moved residences.
Reports said that Cooley moved from his home on Ireland Drive to an unknown location and failed to notify the Sheriff’s Office within 72 hours. Cooley is charged with failure to register as a sex offender, and probation violation
