Alisia Galvez Gomez, 24 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she imprisoned her 44 year-old husband inside a bedroom before beating him in the head and body.
The victim was left with multiple scratches and bloody welts.
Gomez is also accused of breaking a window in the bedroom when she shoved the victim into it. Damages were estimated to be around $200.
The incident, which occurred at a home on Decatur Street, occurred in front of three children.
Gomez is charged with simple battery, battery, false imprisonment, criminal trespass and three counts cruelty to children.
