Frank Vic Bosco, 60 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly shoved his wife down on a bed and then also threw a cellphone at her face.
The victim suffered visible injuries to her face.
He was later found driving while under the influence.
Bosco is charged with simple battery and DUI.
