Briteny Ann Johnson, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she refused to allow her 16 year-old daughter back into the home overnight.
Officers said that the child was left outside, alone, with temperatures around 40 degrees on Monday.
Johnson is charged with 1st degree cruelty to children.
