Cedartown Woman Jailed in Rome for Stealing Apx $10K from Employer

Kela Rae Shelton, 39 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after reports said she stole nearly $10,000 in cash from the RV and Outdoor Center on Cave Spring Road.

Reports said that Shelton, an employee, took the cash between June 24^th and October 8^th of last year.

Officers said that Shelton stole  appx $9,473.59.

Shelton is charged with felony theft by taking.
