Kaylin Jamerious Williams, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a Glock handgun and then discharged it toward another person at the intersection of East 12th and Crane Streets.
The report said that Williams could have left the victim deceased or with serious bodily injury from his antics.
The handgun was valued at $1,000.
Williams is charged with aggravated assault, felony theft by taking and discharging a firearm near a public street.
