Frank James Donaldson, 59 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he lied to them during a traffic stop on East 2nd Avenue.
Police said that Donaldson was found driving with no insurance, on an expired tag and without a license.
Officers stated that Donaldson gave them another persons name and date of birth to cover up who he was.
Donaldson is charged with concealing the identity of a vehicle, operation of an unregistered vehicle, driving without a license, driving without insurance, giving false information to police and eight counts failure to appear.
