Jammie Lee Daniels, 55 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he refused to cooperate with police during a shoplifting investigation.
Officers said that Daniels concealed over $95 in merchandise and then left the store without paying.
Police added that when they approached Daniels he refused to identify himself and stop walking away. Officers went on to say that Daniels had to be carried back to the loss prevention office against his will.
Daniels is charged with theft by shoplifting and two counts obstruction.
