Tyrease Rashun Creamer, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he tried to take out a police officer during a high speed chase.
Reports said that when police attempted to stop Creamer for running a red light at West Third Street and Second Avenue he sped away at speeds reaching over 105 mph.
Creamer is also accused of ramming a police car and then jumping from his vehicle before fleeing on foot into an apartment on Dodd Blvd.
Creamer is charged with aggravated assault, possession of marijuana, four counts of obstruction, attempting to elude police, driving without license, DUI, attempting to elude police, running a stop sign reckless driving, failure to obey traffic control devices, failure to maintain lane, and speeding.
