Jackson Tyler Forrister, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he sextorted 19 year-old Cedartown girl.
Reports said that the victim and her mother contacted police in September 2024 after they received messages from a Reddit user threatening to release explicit photos of the teen if she did not comply with her demands for more images.
The victim told police that she sent photos of herself to a former boyfriend and that the suspects may have disseminated them without her consent.
Reports added that Forrister provided the victim with detailed personal information about her family and details of relatives.
After not complying, Forrister is accused of sending nude photographs of the teen to her mother’s son-in-law.
Forrister is charged with sexual extortion, electronically transmitting nude/sexually photos and transmitting nude photos/videos to a website.
