A Rome High School student, Detrick Deontay Morell Jr, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he started fight with a 15 year-old student in the bathroom of the school.
Reports said that Morell provoked the minor by chest bumping him before the fight began.
Morell is charged with simple battery.
