Tosha Marie King, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she failed to get medical care for her dog after it was struck by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
Reports said that both of the animal’s back legs were broken during the incident.
Police added that the dog suffered with the injury for over a month.
King is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
