The region 7A basketball tournament completed it’s first night on Monday at the host school of Gordon Central.
Boys bracket:
Gordon Central defeated Dalton Academy and Coosa defeated Armuchee. Coosa and Armuchee will play Tuesday at 6pm with the winner to face number 1 seed Christian Heritage on Thursday at 5.
Gordon Lee defeated Dade County and will play Fannin County on Tuesday. The winner of that game will go on to face the number 2 seed Chattooga Indians Thursday at 7.
The championship game will be held Friday at 8pm.
Girls bracket:
On Monday, Christian Heritage defeated Dalton Academy, as did Gordon Lee over Gordon Central. Christian Heritage will play Dalton Academy Tuesday at 5. The winner will go on to face Fannin County Thursday at 5:30.
Coosa defeated Dade County and will play Chattooga Tuesday at 7 pm. The winner will go on to face Armuchee Thursday at 6:30.
The girls championship will be held Friday at 6pm.
